The day slowly draws to a close. As nightfall approaches, the skies gradually darken. Thousands of stars glitter in the sky. The planets continue their stately progress through the zodiac while the moon sheds its ghostly pale light. In the far distance we see a shower of shooting stars which seem to herald the dawn of a new day.
The rhythms of day and night, of summer and winter, exerted a profound influence on the way our ancestors lived, whereas today our lives are ruled by rather different timetables and the stars are rarely seen against the harsh neon glare of our cities.
The Planetarium in Wolfsburg uses high technology. The spectacular multimedia shows provide you with insights into the workings of the universe. The dome is fully air-conditioned and the armchairs can be tilted backwards, making your visit an experience you will never forget.
